Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingling all the way. Hello everyone. I’m Sammy from the Tokyo Passenger System Promotion Department. Three months ago, I transferred from the Taipei branch to Japan, and now I’m responsible for updating the e-commerce system.

What impressed me most during my time here is how the lives of Japanese people are filled with a strong sense of seasons and festivals. Lately, just walking around the streets, I’ve constantly felt the festive atmosphere conveyed by holiday decorations, as if everything has been brightened up in anticipation of Santa Claus. Today, I’d like to share with you the stunning nighttime light displays around Tokyo Dome.

Themed “Fantasy of Music and Light,” the LED decorations, synchronized with music rhythms, create a colorful and fantastical world that truly moves the heart. The illuminated tunnels resemble a three-dimensional picture book, offering striking visual effects that captivate both men and women alike.

The light display runs daily from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., and will continue until Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2016. For those planning a trip to Tokyo soon, I highly recommend a visit to Tokyo Dome to witness this spectacular seasonal spectacle worth pausing for and capturing with your camera.
