Tainan City’s new Spring Festival attraction this year, the Blue Print Cultural and Creative Park, is expected to draw large crowds. The Tainan City Transportation Bureau has developed a traffic management plan for the area around the park. Zhang Zhengyuan, Director of the Tainan City Transportation Bureau, stated that 12 Da-Tainan Bus routes with a total of 658 daily services pass by the Blue Print Cultural and Creative Park. He recommends that visitors make use of the convenient and frequent Da-Tainan Bus services to explore the city during the Spring Festival.

Zhang Zhengyuan explained that the Blue Print on Haian Road was once a famous tourist spot in Tainan, but it was painted over after being reclaimed by the property owner, which was regrettable. The Tainan City Government selected the old judicial dormitory complex on Section 1, Ximen Road, and invited Liu Guocang, the original designer of the Blue Print, to create a new version. This new design incorporates cultural and creative industries, forming the Blue Print Cultural and Creative Park — a new attraction for Tainan during this year’s Spring Festival.

Inside the Blue Print Cultural and Creative Park, unlike the single Blue Print artwork on Haian Road, the new version features 3D elements for an immersive interactive experience. Throughout the park, you’ll find the park’s mascot Blues, along with several large-scale street art murals and a creative hub, breathing new life into the formerly abandoned old judicial dormitory complex.

Zhang Zhengyuan pointed out that the Transportation Bureau anticipates large crowds at the Blue Print site during the Spring Festival. In addition to the traffic management plan, there are 1,715 parking spaces for cars and motorcycles in the vicinity. There are also 12 bus routes — including city buses 1, 2, 5, 10, 11, 18, 19, as well as the Red Trunk Line, Blue Trunk Line, Red 2, Green 17, and Blue 24 — with a total of 658 daily services passing through the area around the Blue Print. Moreover, the Blue Print is close to cultural sites such as the Confucius Temple Cultural Zone and the Lai Department Store. Visitors exploring Tainan during the Spring Festival are encouraged to take advantage of the convenient Da-Tainan Bus services.

Bus Routes to the Blue Print Cultural and Creative Park

1. At Tainan Railway Station, take city buses 1, 2, 5, 11, 18, Red Trunk Line, Red 2, Green 17, or Blue 24, and get off at the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Tainan Xin Tian Di stop.
2. At Tainan Railway Station, take city buses 10, 19, or Blue Trunk Line, and get off at the Xiaoximen (Dayi Lijing) stop. It’s about a 100-meter walk from there.
