Take the bus to explore the "Colorful Ancient Capital" – Tainan’s Floral Festival Blooms All Over the City

This year’s Tainan Floral Festival in the city center is held at Shuiping Park and Shuijiao She Park. Shuiping Park, themed “Colorful Ancient Capital,” features landscapes inspired by characters from Journey to the West, such as the Monkey King, Zhu Bajie, the Bull Demon King, and Tripitaka, combined with Tainan’s tourism, farming, and industrial culture to create a floral exhibition with the charm of the ancient capital. Shuijiao She Park connects the heritage of the Air Force dependents' village and the hometown of the Thunder Tiger Aerobatic Team, integrating festive elements of the Year of the Monkey to offer visitors diverse floral displays and cultural sights.

Zhang Zhengyuan pointed out that Shuiping Park, where the Floral Festival is held, is about 100 meters away from the Blueprint Cultural and Creative Park, department stores, and cinemas, all of which can be visited together. By taking city buses No. 0, 2, 5, 10, and 18 of the Greater Tainan Bus system, visitors can easily travel to Shuijiao She Park to continue enjoying the flowers. This year’s Floral Festival in Tainan’s city center area is perfect for a light urban bus journey.

Tainan City Center Area Floral Festival Bus Information

1. Shuiping Park: Blue Main Line, Blue 23 Branch Line, Tourist Bus 88, City Bus Routes 10 and 19 – get off at “Shuiping Park Station” on Yonghua Road; Bus 6 – get off at “Shuiping Park Station” on Jinhua Road; Bus 0 Left and 0 Right – get off at “Hakka Culture Museum Station” on Xialin Road.

2. Shuijiao She Park: City Buses 2, 5, 15, 0 Left and 0 Right – get off at “Jiaqi Girls’ High School Station” on Jiankang Road, then walk to Shuijiao She; Bus 18 – get off at “Asia Culinary Station” or “Shuijiao She Station” on Section 1 of Dacheng Road, then walk to the park.
