As the number of inbound travelers to Japan continues to rise, various regions across the country have been introducing convenient tourism services to attract visitors. Tottori City, known as the “Hometown of Conan,” has launched a sightseeing taxi service. For just ¥1,000 (approximately NT$300) per person, travelers can enjoy a 3-hour guided tour around Tottori by taxi, allowing them to explore with ease and without worrying about transportation.

The Tottori sightseeing taxi service departs from Tottori Station. Travelers can apply at the Tottori International Tourist Support Center located at the north exit of the station, where staff who speak Chinese, English, and Korean are available. After learning your desired destinations, they will help design an itinerary and arrange the taxi.

Language barriers are not an issue either, as both the driver and passenger seats are equipped with multilingual translation devices. Simply press the button to communicate with the driver through the translator, making the experience very convenient.
