Aromatherapist massage for NT$47,000 per stay — Taiwan’s only ultra-luxurious spa suite in Taoyuan

Since its opening in 2016, The Westin Taoyuan Daxi has become the most expensive hotel in the Taoyuan area, with room rates starting at NT$17,000 per night. Among its 205 rooms are one presidential suite priced at NT$180,000 per night, 24 executive suites, and — the most unique of all — Taiwan’s only spa suite.

Most resort hotels set up dedicated spa areas where guests can visit for massages. Aside from offering a spa zone, The Westin also has four spa stay suites that feature private spa rooms and treatment beds, allowing guests to receive services from aromatherapists without even leaving their rooms.

Spanning 77 square meters (approximately 23.3 pyeong), the spa suite is priced at NT$47,000 per night. In addition to a private spa room, it includes a double bed, a chaise lounge, a dressing area, and more. It retains The Westin’s signature minimalist and bright design, mainly featuring natural wood tones paired with white. Along with an indoor double bathtub, there’s also a small private outdoor pool, giving it the feel of a mini villa.

The private spa room is sectioned off by wooden sliding doors to create a tranquil, personal space. Guests can directly book an aromatherapist for essential oil massages or hand and foot treatments. For those who love to unwind with spa treatments while valuing privacy, it’s truly a luxurious treat.
