Thailand is currently actively promoting a “smoke-free and safe environment.” Travelers visiting Thailand are urged not to smoke in public no-smoking areas, especially at sports venues and tourist attractions across the country.

The Thai Ministry of Tourism and Sports has announced that smoking is now completely prohibited in all outdoor public spaces in Thailand. This includes all sports facilities, training areas, competitions, and events, as well as parks, zoos, amusement parks, children’s play areas, and markets. The goal is to create a smoke-free, clean, and safe environment, and visitors to Thailand are urged to comply with this regulation.
