Super cool design alert: Dubai’s Museum of the Future takes visitors to the world of 2035

The Museum of the Future's exhibition recently opened at the renowned Madinat Jumeirah, taking visitors into the world of 2035 to see what the future might look like.According to the Lonely Planet website,the Museum of the Future is currently showcasing temporary exhibits featuring cutting-edge technologies that may emerge in the future — such as two brains implanted with different languages that can instantly communicate with each other; a machine that can alter your mood; and even a machine that can upload dreams so others can watch the storyline.

These all sound incredibly cool. However, the exhibition has also sparked debate, with opinions divided between those who see benefits and those who raise ethical concerns about such machines.

According to Director Dr. Raford, the permanent museum site will begin construction within a few months, and it will have a very unique oval shape. The venue is scheduled to open in December 2018 — visitors, stay tuned.
