3. Grand Matsu Temple in Tainan
As one of Tainan’s four great Matchmaker Temples, the Grand Matsu Temple is not only a national historic site but also the first government-built Mazu temple. The Matchmaker God enshrined here is naturally super powerful, matching over 300 couples every year.

4. Changhua – Lukang Tianhou Temple

5. Taichung Cide Cihui Temple
The Yue Lao (God of Love) at Cide Cihui Temple is said to be the most amiable in Taiwan and the only one seated — quite unique. Not only do they offer cute Q-version figurines of both the Yue Lao and Yue Po (Goddess of Love), but its proximity to a major hotel also attracts many foreign visitors.

6. Taichung Lecheng Temple
With a long history, the Yue Lao of Taichung Lecheng Temple is a nationally designated third-grade historic site — highly reputed, and trusted by countless people over the years for his efficacy. The temple walls display wedding invitations from couples whose prayers for love were answered.

7. Tucheng Zhengtong Luermen Mazu Temple
With a 400-year history and having successfully matched over 12,000 couples (registered cases), Luermen Mazu Temple is not only efficacious, but also offers sweets while praying to Yue Lao — a very special experience.
