Mitsui Outlet Park’s food court is always bustling during meal times, and every eatery here has its own claim to fame. Take Sparkling Stars, for example. Don’t assume it’s just another ordinary egg fried rice restaurant. When it was first established in Japan, the restaurant was committed to using authentic French culinary techniques to deliver top-quality meals. Even an ordinary egg fried rice here isn’t topped with ketchup — instead, it’s drizzled with a signature sauce made by simmering beef marrow bones.
Japan’s Sparkling Stars Scrambled Egg Egg Fried Rice is one of its signature dishes. The special sauce poured on top is simmered using ten ingredients including beef marrow bones, vegetables, and a variety of spices. It's a recipe developed by the head chef in Japan. This sauce plays a vital role in Sparkling Stars’ cuisine, adding more layers of flavor to the dishes. Additionally, the rice is mixed with eight types of mushroom-like vegetables and left to rest overnight, allowing the flavors of the vegetables to infuse into the rice. Moreover, the sauce is used not only for scrambled egg egg fried rice but also for items like hamburger steak and fried cutlets.

Therefore, aside from scrambled egg egg fried rice, it also offers chicken curry rice, Southeast Asian seafood biryani, beef hamburger steak, Sparkling Stars fried shrimp, and thick-cut fried hamburger steak — all priced at NT$280. Since Japanese people often enjoy pairing two or more main dishes, Sparkling Stars also provides nine different combo options, such as scrambled egg egg fried rice & beef hamburger, scrambled egg egg fried rice & Sparkling Stars fried shrimp, and chicken curry rice & fried hamburger steak, all priced at NT$420.
Moreover, Sparkling Stars isn’t just known for its scrambled egg egg fried rice — its steak N<

In 1988, the first Grill Sparkling Stars opened in Azabu Juban, Tokyo. Based on the characteristics of the Azabu Juban area, residents there weren’t seeking high-end Western restaurants in luxury hotels or traditional fine dining establishments, but rather a restaurant that offered quality meals they could enjoy any day.
