The Hwacheon Ice and Snow Festival is one of the most joyful and romantic festivals of the year in Gangwon Province, South Korea.

The annual Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival (Hwacheon Ice Trout Sculpture Festival) will take place from January 6 to January 28, 2018. It is one of the most joyful and romantic festivals in Korea's Gangwon Province each year. Visitors can experience bare-hand fishing, ice fishing for trout, sledding in the snow, ice sledding, bobsledding, ice trains... and other fun activities.
