Marcel Gross (a target="_blank" href="http://yourshot.nationalgeographic.com/profile/332670/">Marcel Gross), a travel photographer passionate about animals and nature, captured an unforgettable sight during his 409-day journey across the Americas. Two massive grizzly bears were seen standing back-to-back, seemingly doing something strange, but upon closer inspection, they were actually scratching their backs on the same pole, prompting netizens to joke,“Waiting for the bus?”

Marshall is a photography enthusiast who loves nature and animals, often following the tracks of various wild creatures during his travels, with a particular affinity for “bears.” During his 409-day journey across the Americas, he once woke up in his rooftop tent to find two huge grizzly bears eating plant roots near his vehicle.

Thrilled by the sight of the bears, Marshall decided to stay and observe them for several hours. In the end, the two bears ended up standing back-to-back, rubbing against the same pole to scratch their itches. He felt that “staying so long was totally worth it!” and quickly snapped photos to share on the National Geographic(National Geographic)website, earning high popularity and being featured as a daily highlight.
