A large-scale theme park in Mie Prefecture with numerous Japan-firsts"Nabana no Sato" (なばなの里)uses tens of millions of illuminated bulbs each year, combined with lighting and music effects, to transform the park into a colorful sea of lights. Coupled with its proximity to Nagoya — just about 30 minutes away — it’s an unmissable nighttime attraction for travelers visiting the Chubu region. The park also features a miniature Mount Fuji, allowing visitors to overlook the entire site from high above. From an aerial view, Nabana no Sato looks like stepping on a vibrant galaxy of stars, making for truly unforgettable scenery.

Nabana no Sato holds titles such as Japan’s largest light sea, Japan’s largest water-based light sea, ranked No. 1 light festival by 4,300 night view critics in Japan, and having the highest total visitor count among major facilities in the Tokai region of Japan for nine consecutive years. This year, it uses tens of millions of LED lights and music effects to bring the Alps and the Matterhorn to life here, dramatizing the four seasons, sunrises, and sunsets that "Heidi, Girl of the Alps" spent here. The spectacular scenes quickly max out visitors’ camera memory cards.

If you want to overlook the entire park from high above, you must take the "Mount Fuji Island." For just an additional 500 yen, you can board this ride. As the Mount Fuji Island slowly ascends, it rotates 360 degrees in the sky, allowing visitors to enjoy the most complete nighttime views of Nabana no Sato. The constantly changing flowing lights of each light area make it feel as if you're walking on a vibrant, ever-changing starry galaxy, floating through the night sky.
