Even without the time to travel far, exploring the city can reveal countless small delights. Taichung’s “Fantasia Green Light Project” is a well-known local cultural and creative hub. Recently, colorful fabric lines were hung on a white wall, and their cascading appearance attracted many young men and women to stop and take photos, creating a unique scene in the area.

The “Fantasia Green Light Project” stated that the photos uploaded by netizens were taken of an installation created by a partner shop. The artist recycled old clothes and repurposed them into installation art, aiming to remind the public that old clothing holds more value beyond being discarded. They hope to contribute to environmental protection and leave behind vibrant rainbows. Currently, it is planned as a permanent installation with no exhibition deadline.

The hub is hidden away in Zhongxing First Alley in Taichung City. Originally an old building belonging to the water company, it was transformed by local young enthusiasts into a cultural and creative gathering place. There are about 10 shops including handicraft stores, cafés, and restaurants, where creative corners can be found everywhere. Though not mainstream, it inspires creativity, and hipsters can easily spend an afternoon here.
