Looking for Batman? Turkish Airlines opens bookings for "Gotham City" flights

With the upcoming release of the movie *Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice*, Turkish Airlines, as a sponsor, has recently started offering bookings for flights to "Gotham City" on its official website. The site even features a complete introduction to Gotham City sightseeing, including local tourist maps, temperatures, and more — a fun nod to fans.

Gotham City is a fictional city that appears in DC Comics and serves as the backdrop for the Batman series. On its official website, Turkish Airlines earnestly describes Gotham City as one of the world’s leading economic hubs, as well as a center of history and art. Among its recommended attractions are a series of buildings including the "Wayne Tower," as well as museums rich in local collections.

In addition to its website, Turkish Airlines previously released a promotional video for Gotham City tourism titled *Fly to Gotham City with Turkish Airlines*. In the video, Ben Affleck, who plays Batman, introduces Gotham City to the public and even hints at the possibility of meeting Batman. The video has garnered over 20 million views on YouTube. Collaborations between movies and airlines are nothing new — ANA once launched an R2-D2 livery plane to coincide with the movie *Star Wars*, and other airlines have introduced special liveries for *Minions* and *Frozen*. Aside from offering "flights" to Gotham City and related information, Turkish Airlines’ website also features details about "Metropolis," helping fans learn more about the city where Superman lives.
