The renowned matcha dessert brand “Chanoike” from Hiroshima, Japan—which was once ranked No. 1 in desserts on Japan’s Rakuten website—will participate in the Japan Festival at the event hall on the 12th floor of SOGO Department Store’s Zhongxiao Branch from March 22 to April 5. The store’s matcha full moon cream cake, matcha Swiss roll, matcha soft serve ice cream, and more will be available for purchase on-site.

Items available for purchase on-site include the Matcha Full Moon Cream Cake (NT$780), Swiss Roll (NT$680), Rich Matcha Egg Roll (NT$580), Rich Matcha Sandwich Cookies (NT$580/8 pieces), Matcha Maple Leaf Pastry (NT$280/3 pieces), and Matcha Soft Serve Ice Cream (NT$100). Among them, the Matcha Full Moon Cream Cake uses Uji matcha “KinTenkaku” as its ingredient. It was once unanimously recommended by 10 celebrities on a Japanese TV program, later topping the sales charts on Japan’s Rakuten website, and is the flagship product of “Chanoike.”
