This year, HowToTrip Taitung Chihpen Royal Hotel is celebrating its 25th anniversary. This year, the Chihpen Royal willrecruit 25 birthday celebrants who share the same birthdate as the hotel—no age limit, anyone born on November 29can now visit the Chihpen Royal’s Facebook fan page and reply with a designated comment under the event post for a chance to stay for free at the Chihpen Royal on their birthday. One winner gets two people in, including airport transfers and breakfast and dinner.Registration for the recruitment campaign ends on November 13.

The 25-year-old HowToTrip Taitung Chihpen Royal Hotel has also completed the renovation of 183 guest rooms and launched the “Stay Well & Stay Full” accommodation promotion. From now until December 15, guests who meet any one of the following conditions—born in 1992, married in 1992, or have a birthday on the 25th or 29th—can check in at an ultra-low discounted rate of 55% off the weekday rate. In addition, there’s a “Daily Free Stay Voucher Draw” event, where one lucky guest staying in November will be drawn each night to receive a free stay voucher.

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Chihpen Royal has also designed a “Plank Canoe Miniature Building Block Souvenir Gift,” which proportionally scales down a 420-centimeter-long traditional plank canoe into a 17.5-centimeter cute and healing miniature block set. The miniature canoe souvenir is placed inside a gashapon capsule, and a giant gashapon machine has been set up in the hotel lobby, allowing guests who purchase the “Stay Well & Stay Full” 25th-anniversary accommodation promotion package to have fun spinning the machine to win a souvenir.
