The World’s 13 Million Travelers Vote on the “Most Satisfying Airport” – Changi Takes the Crown, Taoyuan Ranks 20th

Known as the “Oscars of the aviation industry”Skytrax recently announced the 2016 ranking of the world’s best 100 airports,which is based on a global questionnaire survey of 13 million travelers, using passenger satisfaction as the criterion. As expected, perennial winner Singapore Changi Airport took the top spot again, Incheon Airport also retained its second place, while Taiwan Taoyuan Airport ranked 20th among global airports.

The 2016 ranking of the world’s best 100 airports has recently been revealed. From June 2015 to February this year, Skytrax conducted a survey among approximately 13 million travelers from 106 countries and regions around the world, selecting the most satisfying airports out of 550 globally.

Singapore Changi Airport, South Korea’s Incheon Airport, and Germany’s Munich Airport remained firmly in the top three this year, while Japan’s Haneda Airport and Hong Kong Airport ranked fourth and fifth respectively. In Taiwan, Taoyuan Airport ranked 20th this year, slipping three places compared to 2015.
