Following the opening of its Taoyuan Chunri Road store this (2017) August, Japanese conveyor belt sushi chain Sushiro has set its sights on the potential of the Taoyuan market and will launch its third Taoyuan branch — the Zhongli Dajiang Store — on November 14. This also marks the milestone of having 10 stores across Taiwan. Sushiro entered the Taiwanese market in 2014 and achieved the goal of 10 stores nationwide within three years. Its new target is to open five more stores in 2018.

Sushiro is optimistic about the future development of Taoyuan City, especially its proximity to Taoyuan International Airport. In recent years, it has opened three branches in the Taoyuan area: the Zhongli Station Front Store, the Taoyuan Chunri Road Store (located in the Taoyuan Railway Station front commercial district), and the Zhongli Dajiang Store. The Zhongli Station Front Store primarily targets office workers and students, while the Taoyuan Chunri Road Store and the Zhongli Dajiang Store mainly cater to family customers.

To celebrate the new store opening, a limited-time collaboration gashapon event with Yo-kai Watch is being launched simultaneously across all Taiwan stores.
