The Qingming Festival holiday begins on April 2. Have you decided where to go? Here’s a compiled list of special Children’s Day promotions at major theme parks, national forest recreation areas, and leisure attractions in northern, central, and southern Taiwan, for your reference. [Theme Park Discounts Across Taiwan]

One accompanying adult gets free entry for one child under 12:

Other Discounts:

1. Leofoo Village Theme Park (Hsinchu)
From April 3 to 6, everyone can enjoy a special Children’s price of NT$499 for park entry.

2. Lihpao Land (Taichung)
During the Children’s Day holiday, residents of Changhua County can enjoy a discounted ticket price of NT$390 by presenting their ID card. Additionally, adults bringing one child under 12 years old can also purchase tickets at the NT$390 rate.

3. Janfusun Fancyworld (Yunlin)
To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Janfusun is offering an ID-number matching promotion during the Children’s holiday: those whose ID numbers contain the digits 3, 6, or 9 can enter the entire park for just NT$30; those matching two of the digits pay NT$199; and those matching one digit get in for NT$299.

4. Kenting Ocean Park (Hualien)
Offers a “Free Entry for All Elementary School Students Nationwide” promotion. On Children’s Day, kids can enter for free all day with valid ID, but must be accompanied by a parent. There’s also a ticket discount of NT$590.

Children under 12 can enter all national forest recreation areas for free during the holiday period. The list of 15 national forest recreation areas is as follows:

[Recreational Attractions Nationwide]

Northern Taiwan
 1. Taipei Astronomical Museum, National Science and Technology Museum, and Children's Amusement Park
 The three venues jointly host a challenge game. From the 2nd to the 5th, with a challenge pass, you can enjoy 20% off at the Astronomical Museum, 30% off at the Science and Technology Museum, and free entry to the Children's Amusement Park. On the 2nd and Children's Day, children under 12 can also visit the Astronomical Museum for free.

2. Taipei Zoo (Muzha)
 On Children's Day, children under 12 can enter the zoo and ride the Maokong Gondola for free.

3. Taipei 101 Observation Deck
 From the 26th until the end of April, children under 12 can enter the observation deck for free with a “Taipei Children’s Month” event flyer, but must be accompanied by a paying adult.

4. Hsinchu City Zoo
 On Children's Day, April 4th, children under 12 are offered discounted/free entry.

Central Taiwan
 1. Dongshih Forest Recreation Area
During the extended holiday from April 2 to 5, children aged 7 to 12 can enjoy a discounted ticket price of NT$160 per person to enter the park.

2. Taichung National Museum of Natural Science
On Children's Day, children under 12 enjoy free admission to the museum and its three affiliated parks (the 921 Earthquake Education Park, Phoenix Valley Bird Park Ecological Area, and Chelungpu Fault Preservation Park).

Southern Taiwan
The following attractions offer free entry for all children under 12:
1. Guidan Hot Springs in Tainan
2. Zouma Lai Farm

Eastern Taiwan

Free admission for children under 12 with valid ID on April 4 and 5.

2. Shin Kong Zhaofeng Leisure Farm
Throughout April, children under 12 can enjoy an admission discount of NT$150. During the extended holiday from April 2 to 5, children under 12 from Hualien, Yilan, and Taitung can enter for free.
