A 7-year-old buys 20 Shanghai Disneyland tickets to invite the whole class for a fun day out

Shanghai Disneyland tickets recently went on sale, and a 7-year-old boy secretly memorized his parents’ ID details, used his New Year’s money to book 20 tickets, and said he wanted to take the whole class. After a photo of the ticket order was posted online by his father, netizens commented, “Little tycoon, be my friend!”

The boy, surnamed Zheng, is from Shanghai. His father told Beijing Morning Post that his son had always said he wanted to go to Disneyland, but because he and his wife were often away on business, they didn’t have time to properly take care of their child, let alone go out for fun. “That day, I suddenlyreceived a text message saying the tickets were successfully purchased. At first, I thought it was a scam. Later, after questioning, I found out it was my child who used my phone to buy 20 Disneyland tickets.””

Mr. Zheng said his son had seen that Disneyland tickets could be booked on Baidu Maps on his phone and somehow figured out the booking process,secretly collected the parents’ ID information, “he bought tickets for us and also got over ten for his classmates.” After some questioning, he learned that his son had used his own New Year’s money.“We want him to develop an awareness of managing money from a young age, so how he spends his New Year’s money is entirely up to him.”
