From now until April 30, the Zuiyue Lou at Shangri-La’s Far East International Hotel is offering a limited edition “Colorful Five-Flavor Steamed Buns” (480 TWD for 5 pieces), with an option to choose a 3-piece set of a single flavor. The five differently colored buns are made by incorporating ingredients such as pumpkin, spinach, carrots, dried mustard greens, and squid into the dough.

Pumpkin Vegetarian Bun (Lucky Yellow):The savory vegetable filling is specially prepared with bok choy, pressed tofu, and shiitake mushrooms, while the dough is made with pumpkin puree.

Spinach Scallion Pork Bun (Healthy Green):The filling combines scallions, premium pork shoulder, and handmade XO sauce, with the dough made from spinach.

Dried Mustard Greens Pork Bun (Classic White):This regional-style filling features dried mustard greens, scallions, and premium pork shoulder, paired with plain handmade dough for a classic savory taste.

Carrot Pork Bun (Energetic Red):The filling includes dried cabbage, pork, dried shrimp, and shallots, with the dough made from carrot puree, resulting in a rich, juicy texture.

Squid Pork Bun (Surprising Black):The squid is first braised until tender, then combined with minced pork and chives for the filling, while the dough incorporates squid ink for a spicy, savory richness.
