In April, Taiwan offers not only wisteria, kapok, and golden trumpet trees, but also the pale purple blooms of the neem tree in full flower season. The Tainan Governor's Residence is not only an important local century-old historic site and cultural creative space, but also a serene spot for flower appreciation. The century-old neem trees in front of the residence have now entered their peak blooming period, with their pale purple blossoms stretching infinitely toward the sky, creating the most romantic scene of spring.

The 115-year-old “Tainan Governor's Residence” was redeveloped last year. The first-floor space houses the “1900” café, integrated with a cultural and creative goods store, bookstore, and other amenities, offering a diverse artistic and cultural environment. The underground passage connecting the residence to Weimin Street has also been redesigned as a “Time Tunnel,” featuring 3D murals of old Tainan streetscapes and sika deer, created by artist Chang Hsin-Pi and his mural team.
