In recent years, Korean pop culture has gained immense popularity among Taiwanese people, leading to a rise in the number of travelers visiting South Korea. Not only have airlines successively increased their flight frequencies, but several carriers have also launched new routes to Korea. It is estimated that the number of flights between Taiwan and South Korea will increase by 43% in the first half of this year, rising from 137 weekly flights to 209, offering up to 43,000 seats.

To promote the good news of increased air services, the Korea Tourism Organization, together with eight airlines — Korean Air, China Airlines, Eastar Jet, EVA Air, Jin Air, T’way Air, Jeju Air, and Asiana Airlines — have jointly launched the “Fly to Korea Easy GO Everyday” campaign. From now until the end of June, exclusive group tour offers, discounted group packages, or complimentary Wi-Fi are available for the Taipei–Seoul/Busan routes. Travelers on independent trips can also enjoy special fares, discounts, or receive lovely small gifts. Passengers may also enter a lucky draw with a chance to win a round-trip ticket to Korea.
