It's time to get ready to go—the Dongshi Forest Farm has entered the "firefly peak season"!

The firefly-viewing season at Dongshi Forest Farm has officially begun, and it has recently entered its peak period. On clear nights, visitors can enjoy the enchanting sight of a fresh green carpet glowing with mesmerizing light in the mountains, a magical charm that is truly captivating. The Dongshi Forest Farm says travelers can get ready to head out!

The Dongshi Forest Farm noted that the park has recently entered the peak firefly season, and the public can come to witness the sight of fireflies dancing in the air. Every evening at 7 PM and 8 PM, the park also offers free guided night walks for visitors to enjoy the nocturnal ecology. Participants must check in at the Visitor Service Center at the designated gathering time, bring their own flashlights, and wear long pants and cloth shoes.

The park also reminded visitors that while enjoying the beautiful scenery, they should also adhere to the four principles of firefly viewing: do not catch them, do not make loud noises, do not trespass, and do not use bright lights—so this beautiful sight can be preserved forever. The Dongshi Forest Farm firefly-viewing season runs from now until May 1st.
