Japan’s “Harry Potter Park” unveils two new attractions where you can cast spells with a wand

Starting mid-April, Universal Studios Japan has launched two new attractions in the “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” — “Wand Experience” and “Wand Magic Class.” During these experiences, visitors can feel as though they have the same magical abilities as the film’s characters.

Wand Experience
Guests can use a wand to cast spells. The area is filled with magical effects. Visitors follow the “Wand Map” to find bronze badges that display wand movements and spells. Wand assistants are stationed throughout to help guests successfully perform magic, offering an authentic Harry Potter spell-casting experience.

Wand Magic Class
Guests will step into a scene reminiscent of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where students from the four houses practice magic. Midway through the show, one guest will be chosen to join the students in a magical challenge. At the end, the students and guests will work together to complete a grand spell.
