According to Paul Chandler, Director of Food & Beverage at Disney, most restaurants in the resort will offer dishes featuring specialties from different regions across China — 70% Chinese cuisine, 20% Southeast Asian cuisine, and 10% Western cuisine.

Whether it’s Donald Duck pancakes, Minnie red bean buns, or Shanghai-style fresh meat mooncakes, Shanghai vegetable rice, Beijing-style braised lamb shank, Sichuan-style chicken burgers, or Beijing duck pizza — these signature dishes will all be available in Shanghai Disneyland restaurants. Paul Chandler noted, “Many of these dishes were specially created for Shanghai Disney and can’t be found anywhere else.”
