▲ Hong Kong’s popular Lady M flavor: the original mille crêpes cake.
Reported by Huang Shiyuan, Taipei
Lady M is a popular New York-based dessert shop with branches in many countries, and now you can enjoy it in Taiwan without leaving home. Taipei’s Regent Hotel has teamed up exclusively with Lady M for an international collaboration, marking the global brand’s first-ever appearance in Taiwan. For this special event, Lady M brings its renowned French-style mille crêpes cakes, vanilla chocolate cake, cheesecake cloud cake, and more. It has also created a one-of-a-kind global exclusive dessert just for Taiwanese customers: the “Passion Fruit Mille Crêpes Cake.” The promotion runs from April 28 to May 8 only.
Taipei’s Regent Hotel quietly opened pre-orders for Lady M cakes on its online shopping system, including the classic French mille crêpes cake, matcha mille crêpes cake, and cheesecake cloud cake. The 700 available cakes sold out quickly. Starting April 28, the cakes will be available during the pop-up event at the Regent Gift Shop in the hotel’s first-floor atrium, with prices starting at NT$1,300.

New York-based cake shop Lady M opened its first store in the U.S. in 2004 and was once selected by American magazine BON APPÉTIT as one of the top ten cakes in the country. It currently has branches in the U.S., South Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong, including two locations in Hong Kong—Tsim Sha Tsui and Central. Signature offerings include mille crêpes cakes, puff pastries, and cheesecakes, with the mille crêpes cake being the most beloved.
Each Lady M mille crêpes cake uses over 20 layers of handmade pastry, which are soft and egg-scented. The original mille crêpes cake is the most popular signature flavor, with each layer brushed by hand with fresh cream and topped with a golden caramel layer—sweet but never cloying.
