In the rice paddy art area in front of the Rush Culture Museum at Yuanli Township Farmers' Association in Miaoli County, this year’s theme features a large “chibi-style Mazu,” created by planting rice seedlings to form a giant image of the goddess. The seedlings, which were transplanted in mid-March, have now begun to show green growth, gradually revealing Mazu’s compassionate and gentle smile.

The seedling art was originally scheduled to be fully revealed in May, but photographer Flying in the Sky captured the latest image of the chibi-style Mazu using aerial photography today. The Mazu figure, created with lush green seedlings and surrounded by auspicious clouds, shows distinct layers and a strong three-dimensional effect, with the giant Chinese characters “Mazu” on one side, almost appearing to “float” above the field.
