Summer Travel in the U.S.: New Church in Guam and New Attractions in Houston

The Discover America Committee today (27th) held a briefing titled “A Summer of Wonders and Wonders,” introducing firsthand information on traveling across the U.S. this summer from the perspectives of attractions, transportation, accommodation, and themed activities. Zhang Jianren, President of the Discover America Committee, pointed out that different parts of the U.S. have something worth visiting in every season.

The U.S. boasts diverse and breathtaking landscapes as well as unique cultural experiences. The California Tourism Bureau noted that California’s Redwood National Park, home to towering redwoods, is full of primeval forest charm and offers sweeping views of canyons. The Guam Tourism Bureau stated that Guam has built a new ocean-view church where visitors can take wedding photos and enjoy related tour packages. The Houston Tourism Bureau mentioned that Houston now has a brand-new space center to explore. Pennsylvania will host the Little League World Series in Williamsport.

Regarding travel to the U.S., Delta Air Lines resumed daily flights as of May 15. Hawaiian Airlines launched a 13-day “Hawaii + Western U.S.” joy tour at NT$82,900. United Airlines celebrated the inaugural flight of its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on the Taipei-San Francisco route by offering a special fare of NT$22,000.

For the popular U.S. study tours favored by many travelers, Golden Field Travel Agency also offers different-themed study tour programs such as theme parks in the Western U.S. and cultural experiences in the Eastern U.S., combining language learning with life experiences.
