Feeling tired? Let us cheer you up ! Tainan has seen a surge in popular drink shops. In addition to wildly popular milk teas, you can also find here fantastically refreshing gradient bubble drinks and fruit bubble drinks that are perfect for cooling down. Not only are the colors highly eye-catching, but the bottles are also printed with the shop name “Cheer Up!”—giving drinkers an extra boost of motivation. Besides being refreshingly cool, do you also feel energized and ready to keep pushing forward?

▲ Cheer Up ! has gained a bit of fame in Tainan. Though it hasn’t been open long, it already has a loyal customer base, carving out its own path in an era dominated by milk tea.

Located in Tainan, Cheer Up ! opened in September 2015. It initially started as a bubble drink shop combined with a radio-controlled car space, where customers could often see RC cars zooming around. In April, it transitioned to focus solely on beverages, with a slight adjustment in product offerings. It now provides four types of drinks: “Little Soda,” made with pure fruit jam, fresh lemon juice, and sparkling water; “Little Tuned Soda,” a mildly alcoholic bubble drink using the famous French fruit syrup MONIN, fresh lemon juice, and Heineken, with an alcohol content below 0.5%; “Fruit Smoothie Ice,” blended from fresh fruit, yogurt, and fresh milk; and “Secret Mix,” which includes the signature Vitamin Fruit Bubble. Customers can choose three types of fruit, one fruit syrup, plus fresh lemon juice and sparkling water for a custom mix.

The shop specializes in bubble drinks. To retain carbonation, canned options are also available, including black-cap bottles and pressure-resistant bottles. Among all drinks, only the Vitamin Fruit Bubble comes canned by default, but other bubble drinks can be upgraded to cans for just an additional NT$10. Once bottled, the fresh fruit and gradient soda are fully visible through the transparent containers, making them a stylish accessory in hand.

The owner especially recommends several popular drinks. All fruit bubble drinks are made with freshly sliced fruits that day—sweet and crisp—so sipping the bubbles while snacking on fruit creates an amazing taste experience. For smoothie ices, the Blueberry Captain is highly recommended. It uses a generous amount of yogurt to create a marbling effect, with the sweet and tangy flavors of blueberries and cranberries plus a beautiful appearance, making it the shop’s top-selling smoothie ice. Meanwhile, Mung Bean Kills Milk is made with self-boiled mung beans and fresh milk—no added water—and is also a bestseller. The Little Tuned Soda series features vibrant colors, using Heineken to create a gradient effect that’s quite dreamy.
