After years of long anticipation,Louvre Abu Dhabiofficially opened to the public this past weekend on the 11th, with its stunning interior now unveiled. This future cultural beacon in the Middle East has captured global attention.

According to Lonely Planet,following its November 11 opening, Louvre Abu Dhabi will host a week-long celebration. Beyond its impressive art and cultural collections, the building itself has garnered widespread praise from visitors. Designed by architect Jean Nouvel, the structure blends Islamic inspiration with modern architecture, and is located on Saadiyat Island — part of an ambitious world-class waterfront development by the Abu Dhabi government that attracts top-tier global art institutions.

Collaborating with 13 partner museums in France, Louvre Abu Dhabi offers visitors the chance to see many iconic works spanning from prehistoric times to the present day, including paintings, sculptures, and numerous contemporary pieces. Masterpieces by renowned artists such as Da Vinci and Van Gogh are among the highlights. On December 21, a special exhibition titled “From One Louvre to Another: Opening a Museum for Everyone” will debut, chronicling the history of the Louvre in Paris since the 18th century.

Ticket prices have been set: $16 USD (approximately NT$500) for general admission, and $8 USD (approximately NT$250) for visitors aged 13–22. Guided tours are available in Arabic, English, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish.
