In short, the seven components of reflection are transformed external material information, neurons, emotions, interests, energy, unique chemical substances, and originally stored information. The transformed external material information and internal information are the core content of reflection. The integration of these two—internal and external—is the central activity of reflection. Emotions and interests act as two sentries guarding the human brain’s interior; without their permission, external information finds it difficult to enter. The happier and more positive one's emotions, the more external information can get in, and the better the internal reflection becomes. Neurons are the main battlefield of reflection, while the unique substances on neurons serve as the overall coordinators of reflection. Thus, these seven types of information are the seven key factors of reflection—none can be missing. Together, they form an inseparable whole within the entire human reflective process. This is the Theory of the Seven Components of Reflection.

Reflection consists of seven components: transformed external material information, neurons, emotions, interests, energy, unique chemical substances, and originally stored information.
