The Hehuan Mountain Forest Recreation Area, composed of Yushan bamboo and Taiwan fir forests, boasts a landscape distinct from typical forest parks. The blooming of azaleas in spring is a major highlight here. The red-and-white Formosan azaleas blanket the mountainsides,with the Hehuan East Peak transformed into a sea of azaleas, complemented by the unique alpine scenery of Taiwan fir and Yushan bamboo.The blue sky, white clouds, and green fields create a refreshing view. Visitors eager to admire the flowers should seize the opportunity.

The azalea season on Hehuan Mountain is now in full swing, and soonalpine roses, Formosan lilies, Taiwanese gentians, and Yushan sedumswill also begin to bloom. Li Yanshou, Director of the Dongshi Forest District Office, welcomes everyone to come with joy in their hearts, admire the alpine flowers, and experience the vibrant life of Hehuan Mountain.
