With today's human technology, creating robots capable of carrying people and engaging in combat seems like "not even the first stroke of the brush," yet someone discovered a Gundam stone statue in Nyamat, Central Java, Indonesia — and it’s already covered in moss. Local villagers also said the statue has existed since the Majapahit Kingdom era (1293 to 1478), which means it is at least 540 years old！
News of the Gundam statue quickly spread to Japan, where fans said it closely resembles the Gundam Exia from "Mobile Suit Gundam 00." Some even shared the news with the anime’s director, Seiji Mizushima, and invited him to join them on a pilgrimage to Indonesia.

The "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" anime series aired in 2007. By that logic, the statue couldn’t have appeared more than 10 years ago. In fact, the idea of ancient high-tech civilizations being sealed or buried in unnoticed places has long been a common trope in sci-fi movies and animations. Now, a fictional story stepping out of the screen and into “reality” is sure to bring a smile.
