It turns out the stoic-looking owner originally worked in the transportation industry but started raising 100 chickens, which he cooked and gave away during holidays. The dishes received great praise, prompting him to open a shop. The narrow store often gets packed to capacity as soon as it opens, with everyone coming specifically for the naturally pasture-raised Hinai-jidori.
