The silver-haired heartthrob Takeshi Kaneshiro, who previously sparked a tourism boom in Taitung with his EVA Air ad that made Braden and the Kaneshiro Tree famous, is back in the spotlight. The Royal Tea Garden commercial, which premiered on March 29, 2019, claims to have been shot in an extravagant secret location, once again becoming a hot topic!

With the core concept of “Stay in Nature,” the ad assembled a top-tier creative team including Japanese rising director Shuhei Gotō, visual director Ryōma Koshiba, photographer Kaoru Izushima, and acclaimed Golden Horse Award-winning stylist Stanley Kao, who traveled with Kaneshiro to a secret overseas location. From the behind-the-scenes footage, it appears they flew with China Airlines, and while the exact country remains unconfirmed, many netizens speculate it’s likely somewhere in Southeast Asia.

The ad conveys a healing, refreshing, and natural aesthetic, aligning with what most travelers today seek. Capturing ethereal, dreamlike, and natural imagery is also one of the prevailing trends on Instagram.

Here are three beautiful lakes in Taiwan where you can experience the charm of secret wonderlands

1. Houci Lake in Taoyuan

Located in Daxi, Taoyuan, Houci Lake not only boasts picturesque scenery but also features a 3.5-kilometer hidden trail. Strolling or boating here is incredibly romantic and atmospheric.
