This year’s “2010 Season to Fly” series of events, jointly organized by Taitung County Government and the East Rift Valley National Scenic Area Administration, will take place from July 24 to August 1 (a total of 9 days) at Luye Plateau. A wide range of activities are planned to invite everyone to explore Luye and enjoy the vast, relaxing rural charm of Taitung!
The “2010 Season to Fly” series includes the Taitung County Tourism Carnival on July 24, the Thousand-Person Green Tunnel Lie-Down, parent-child grass sledding, power bouncing, rural life experience activities, as well as the most thrilling paragliding and Beinan River rafting experiences. Additionally, it incorporates local agricultural products such as Fulu Tea and Fulu Rice from Luye Township, along with indigenous cultural activities, ensuring visitors have a memorable and fulfilling trip.
The exciting and thrilling high-altitude activities attract many adventure enthusiasts.
This summer in Hualien and Taitung is super fun. To boost summer tourism, a variety of activities are being actively organized. In addition to the Season to Fly events, there’s also the Golden Needle Mountain Carnival, Carp Lake Concert, Hueilan Cycling Festival Carnival, Iron Horse Leisure Huanshan Tour, and Chihshang Bamboo Raft Harvest Festival. Moreover, it’s combined with the cross-county “Taiwan Good to Go” initiative of Hualien and Taitung, using convenient shuttle transportation to encourage more visitors to explore the beautiful mountains and waters of Hualien and Taitung.
