PTT user makoto shared on the forum that during his birthday flight back to Taiwan from Japan on V Air, he was surprised when four flight attendants walked over to his seat, sang "Happy Birthday" together, and presented him with a birthday card featuring "flight attendant lipprints." This unique experience not only made the post go viral, but netizens also commented: "Being handsome sure helps."

In makoto’s post titled "A Surprise from the V Air ZV213 Crew," he mentioned that his flight from Fukuoka to Taipei on May 10 was delayed by an hour, and coupled with the return to reality, he was feeling a bit down. Then, during the flight, he noticed four flight attendants walking toward him and starting to sing "Happy Birthday to You~ Happy Birthday to You~," followed by an English version.

Makoto said he never expected to be serenaded with a birthday song, and the crew even used an entry card to draw a birthday card on the spot. On the card, the four flight attendants wrote messages such as "We’re so happy to celebrate your birthday with you on the plane," "Happy Birthday," and "Hope V Air brings you the most special birthday," along with a drawing of V Air’s bear mascot. The most special part was a flight attendant leaving a lipstick lipprint. Makoto also said, "I was really touched~~~ Thank you, crew~~~"

Regarding the birthday wishes makoto received, netizens left comments such as "Being handsome sure helps" and "I’m going to fly on my birthday from now on." Some also shared their own experiences of receiving blessings from customs officers during flights.

V Air stated that in the past, they have assisted passengers with proposals and writing flight logs, among other interactions. Their crew members, in their spare time, also create small surprises based on flight schedules, cabin work conditions, and other details. They use little creative ideas and moments to create a joyful atmosphere.However, V Air also pointed out that flight attendants have their own duties to perform, and not every request can be accommodated. They still need to prioritize flight operations; otherwise, it would lose the meaning of the surprise.

As for the flight attendants who initiated the activity, although they remained low-key and did not disclose too much information, other crew members expressed gratitude for PTT user makoto’s response. The crew felt that receiving feedback from passengers made them happy, felt encouraged, and motivated them to provide more lively and fun service to guests.
