The use of ebooks in travel is becoming increasingly popular, allowing tourists to explore easily without carrying heavy guidebooks. The New Taipei City Government has officially launched its dedicated travel book "New Taipei ALL in Play," emphasizing “one book per person, all-in-one solution,” and it is now available in four versions—Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, and Japanese—for free download on iPad. The Traditional Chinese magazine version is also available at major bookstores.

"New Taipei ALL in Play" is different from typical translated books that simply convert the Chinese version. The four language versions offer distinct styles. In addition to featuring must-visit attractions and local delicacies, each version is tailored to the needs of travelers from different countries. The Chinese version provides travel strategies based on metro routes and highlights cultural and creative arts spots, integrating transportation information to showcase the convenience of local transit. The English version caters to foreigners’ love for adventure by featuring thrilling sports activities; the Japanese version focuses on hot spring getaways; and the Simplified Chinese version showcases tea culture and culinary journeys.

Users who wish to download "New Taipei ALL in Play" can search for the az Travel app on the App Store to download it for free. After installation, they can choose the language version of "New Taipei ALL in Play" they want to read. The Traditional Chinese magazine is available for purchase at major bookstores across Taiwan, while the English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese versions are not for sale. These will be available at airport lounges, international tourist hotels, and overseas offices for foreign tourists to read and collect.
