Travelers flying with Singapore Airlines and SilkAir, who book their flights between October 1, 2011 and March 15, 2012, and depart from China, Egypt, India, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, and the United States, will receive a SGD 20 Changi Airport shopping voucher when transiting at Singapore Changi Airport. The number of vouchers is limited and will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis, and are valid for use before March 31, 2012.

Except in the arrivals hall, the Changi Airport shopping voucher can be used at retail shops, dining outlets, and various service facilities in the public areas and transit zones of Terminals 1, 2, and 3. One voucher can be used once per store. The voucher can also be used to offset up to 3 hours of single-use access to the Ambassador Transit Lounge. Facilities in the Ambassador Transit Lounge include showers with basic toiletries, light snacks, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, local and international publications, free WiFi, and local calls.

In addition, under the “Singapore Airlines Boarding Pass Privileges Programme,” transit passengers can enjoy more benefits and discounts when shopping or dining at Changi Airport by simply showing their Singapore Airlines or SilkAir boarding pass. Passengers can also use the Changi Airport shopping voucher together with the existing programme benefits and discounts when making purchases at participating stores.
