A Romantic Ranch Encounter – Thailand’s A Cup of Love

While most people’s most vivid impression of traveling in Thailand is Bangkok, but this vast and resource-rich country has countless tourist attractions waiting to be discovered. Located in northeastern Thailand’s Nakhon Ratchasima Province, in the Wang Nam Keaw area (which means “Green Bay” in Thai), there is a place called A Cup of Love. It’s a ranch beloved by local couples and also offers dining and accommodation.

 

Since it’s named “A Cup of Love,” most visitors here are couples. Whether under the windmill, in the sheep barn, or by the pond, every spot offers breathtaking scenery. In the park, you’ll often see sweet moments of boyfriends taking memorable photos of their girlfriends with cameras. Of course, you can also sit in the café, gaze at the windmill, pond, and horses grazing in the distance, and soak in a romantic European vibe—without having to travel across the ocean.

For just 50 baht, you can buy milk or fodder to feed the adorable sheep. Some people bring fodder while others bring milk, but it turns out that what the little sheep love most is milk—they’re not very interested in the fodder. Their skilled milk-drinking technique also surprises everyone. If you’re lucky, the sheep will be herded onto the grassy field, where you can freely take photos with them or even experience running with the flock on the open field.
