In the “Leisure & Entertainment / Theme Park Facilities and Regional Attractions Comprehensive TOP20” section of the second overseas market survey report, Universal Studios Japan claimed first place, followed by Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Tower in second and third, respectively. Senso-ji Temple came in fourth, and Tokyo DisneySea ranked fifth.
During the first release, Mount Fuji, renowned as a World Heritage Site and the most visited destination by inbound tourists, secured the top spot, with Universal Studios Japan in second. This time, Universal Studios Japan surpassed “Mount Fuji” to claim the number one position.
According to Universal Studios Japan, this achievement is attributed to a 185% increase in the number of foreign visitors compared to the previous year (as of February), as well as the launch of limited-time attractions in January that captured the attention of international tourists.
