After spending most of their lives as civil servants, this Atayal couple resolutely quit their jobs at the township office and began traveling around the world to experience the styles of homestays in different countries firsthand. Upon returning to Taiwan, they devoted themselves wholeheartedly to running Salida.
“Salida” means “our home” in the Atayal language. The homestay adopts an affordable pricing strategy, hoping that every visitor will feel as relaxed and unrestrained as they would at home.
◎ Semi-open Family Pool: Built on a mountainside with natural stone baths, these pools offer pure, undiluted hot spring water. Each family pool is named after animals such as wild boar, black bear, and Formosan serow.
