To attract more independent travelers to experience the convenience and vibrancy of Taipei, the Taipei City Government’s Department of Information and Tourism launched today (16th) a new pocket-sized version of the 《Taipei Pass Taipei Travel Passport》. Starting now, simply purchase the “Taipei Pass Taipei Travel Passport” ticket card (valid for any number of days) and you’ll receive the passport for free — letting you “travel all-in-one!” Freely explore Taipei’s convenience, warmth, and friendliness.

Tourism Bureau Director Zhao Xinping noted that the passport not only increased the number of participating stores from 100 to 110, but also expanded the range of discounts to include restaurants, cafés and afternoon tea, shopping, accommodation, souvenirs, and attraction tickets — with a total value of up to NT$23,000. Highlights include 47% off weekday stays at Taipei Lian Hotel (original price applies), and popular food spots such as Din Tai Fung, MaLa Top Spicy Hotpot, Diaon Shui Lou, Xiabu Xiabu, and Crystal Spoon Thai Restaurant. Café and afternoon tea options include 4H House Cat Tea Town, PPAPER Café, and Er Tiao Tong – Green Island Serenade. Hotel partners include Spa Valley Hot Spring Resort, Xi Rui Hotel, New Station Hotel, Hotel 73 Shinshang, and Dandy Hotel. Attractions featured include Miramar Entertainment Park, Beitou Cultural Artifacts Museum, and Taipei 101 Observatory. Shopping and souvenir discounts cover brands like Kuo Yuan Ye, Cha Shan Fang handmade soap, Shanghai Old Tian Lu, and PHANTACi.
Additionally, the guidebook includes 10 no-purchase-required in-store gifts available upon presentation of the coupon, as well as a limited-time bonus gift of the TaipeiWalker and 7-watch Centennial Collector’s Edition “Collection of Century-Old Stores” during the first month of release. Starting today, purchase a Taipei Pass ticket card at any Taipei MRT station or the EasyCard Corporation Taipei Main Station customer service center to receive the Chinese version of the discount guidebook.
