Hongquan Hot Spring Resort boasts the first geothermal well drilled in Zhiben. It turns out that back in the day, CPC Corporation, Taiwan, was exploring geothermal energy in Zhiben and struck the “Zhiben No. 1 Hot Spring Well” at a depth of 1,460 meters, located right in the resort’s garden — the purity of the hot spring water speaks for itself. The open-air hot spring spa pools are divided into cold, warm, and hot sections, with massage facilities such as hydro jets available by the pools. The guest rooms feature a simple and clean décor, with complete bathroom amenities, and the taps in the bathrooms even run with hot spring water — perfect for those who prefer not to soak in public open-air pools.
