Stay at hotels and love the planet too！Over 40 quality hotels and homestays in Kaohsiung City, including Howard Plaza, Formosa Regent, and others, have launched the “LiViNN’GREEN！Travel Green Fashion！” campaign, running from January 101 to December 31. As long as guests bring their own personal toiletries when checking in, they can enjoy room discounts starting from as low as 70% off at various hotels and homestays, and also take part in a monthly lucky draw for free accommodation vouchers.

In view of the alarming amount of disposable toiletries consumed by hotels and homestays, and in order to reduce the environmental burden of waste and wastewater, 40 lodging businesses in Kaohsiung City will no longer proactively provide or display disposable personal toiletries starting from January next year. Guests staying for multiple nights may also opt out of having their linens or towels replaced. Those who bring their own personal toiletries can enjoy discounted room rates—simply book the campaign room types on the official websites of these businesses to receive up to 70% off. For example, a Standard City View Room at Howard Plaza Hotel is priced at NT$3,299, a Double Room at Formosa Regent Hotel is NT$2,580, and a Standard Twin Room at Ambassador Hotel is NT$2,699.

Additionally, guests can also participate in a monthly lucky draw for free non-holiday accommodation vouchers. Four lucky winners will be drawn on the 5th of each month and announced on the Kaohsiung City Tourism Bureau’s official website and Kaohsiung Travel Net. Throughout the year, a total of 48 free accommodation vouchers (with a combined value of approximately NT$240,000) will be given away.
