EVA Air has launched a Hello Kitty-painted aircraft Express Check-in KIOSK behind Counter 6A in the departure hall of Terminal 2 at Taoyuan Airport, which officially went live yesterday (the 10th)!

Four Express Check-in KIOSKs are situated within a mock Hello Kitty aircraft cabin, and their exterior design also features Hello Kitty elements—both dreamy and adorable. Passengers at the scene have been flocking to take photos here as cherished mementos. This express check-in service is exclusively available for passengers traveling on Hello Kitty painted flights. When the regular check-in counters are crowded, you can skip the line and easily complete your seat selection procedures. In addition, EVA Air has specially designed three types of cute and exquisitely crafted exclusive Hello Kitty boarding passes for passengers using this service, which they can keep as souvenirs.

The KIOSK offers a self-service, express check-in solution for passengers. The process is very simple—you only need to have your e-ticket and passport to use the service. The service is available in four language options: Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, and Japanese. With just a few easy steps, the operation can be completed in as little as 30 seconds. Check-in is accepted up to one hour before the flight’s departure time, and you can also choose your preferred seat. It's both convenient and fast. Using the KIOSK to check in also earns you a 15% discount coupon for onboard duty-free products.
At the end of October last year, EVA Air and Sanrio joined forces once again to launch three Hello Kitty-painted aircraft—the Magic Jet, the Apple Jet, and the Global Jet. All of the routes flown by these aircraft have sparked a Hello Kitty craze. Currently, the “Magic Jet” operated its first flight on Taipei-Hokkaido on October 31 last year, the “Apple Jet” flew Taipei–Fukuoka and Taipei–Seoul on December 7 and 9 respectively, and the third “Global Jet” took off on the Taipei–Tokyo route on December 26 last year. To allow more passengers to experience the unique charm of the Hello Kitty-painted aircraft firsthand, an additional Taipei–Guam route was launched on January 3 this year.
