The New Taipei City Government’s Tourism and Travel Bureau has carefully planned themed travel routes, and specially designed a limited-edition New Year travel brochure for the Spring Festival in the shape of a Japanese-style “omamori” (talisman) titled “Five Blessings Spring Welcome” for New Taipei City, as well as the first comprehensive tourism guide map —— “New Taipei Just Like This MAP.” Limited to 10,000 copies, it is now available free of charge at various tourism service centers and visitor centers across New Taipei City.

The “Five Blessings Spring Welcome” travel brochure includes: “Find Happiness” for star-chasers, “Enjoy Bliss” for nature lovers, “Seek Wealth” for those seeking good fortune, “Pray for Blessings” for those wanting to add a touch of tradition, and “Feel Comfort” for a quality rest. With a rich and diverse range of themes, the content covers: the Pingxi Happiness Railway Tour, Tamkang High School, Tamsui Old Street, Fisherman’s Wharf and the One Drop Water Memorial Hall, Shuangxi, Shuishe Cave, Jinguashi, Jiufen, Zhonghe’s Hulongdi Fude Temple, Shiding’s Five Directions God of Wealth Temple, Bali’s Five Blessings Temple, as well as Dharma Drum Mountain, Lingjiushan, and the Three Gorges Ancestral Temple. It also features 24 specially selected charming homestays and 48 quality hotels in New Taipei City... The brochure provides tips for seeking wealth, love, and blessings, along with reminders for prayer, and information on Spring Festival events at related attractions.
The tourism guide map —— “New Taipei Just Like This MAP” —— not only introduces the characteristics of New Taipei City’s tourism resources, but also fully integrates information on various public transport services. Based on a standard map with a scale, it accurately marks the relative locations of the vast array of attractions across New Taipei City. It is available in four language versions: Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and English. The cover designs are themed around cherry blossoms, tung blossoms, maple leaves, and kapok flowers, cleverly showcasing New Taipei City’s travel environment that is appealing in all four seasons — spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
