International financial media outlet International Business Times (IBTimes) published on January 18, 2012, the “2011 Global Fastest-Growing 1,000 Companies,” in which Revival Airways ranked 707th—the only airline from the Asia-Pacific region to be selected. This survey list targets publicly listed companies worldwide, evaluating their revenue performance over the past three years to calculate the compound annual growth rate (CAGR), thereby selecting the 1,000 fastest-growing companies globally. A total of 152 Taiwanese companies made the list.

In the first three quarters of 2011, Revival Airways reported a revenue of NT$6.531 billion, up 4.5% from the same period last year. The net profit margin for the first three quarters was 9.64%, with an accumulated earnings per share (EPS) after tax of NT$1.31. Under the leadership of Chairman Lin Ming--, the public has witnessed a brand-new, energized Revival Airways: celebrating its 60th anniversary in May, continuing to push forward with new aircraft acquisition plans; launching the Taipei-Singapore route in June, declaring its strong ambition to “fly to all major Asian cities within five years” and officially kicking off its Asian expansion; opening multiple cross-strait and international routes starting in August, including Taoyuan–Wuxi, Taoyuan–Xuzhou, Kaohsiung–Hefei, Kaohsiung–Nanning, and Kaohsiung–Hanoi, further strengthening Revival Airways’ route network; winning the top spot in the “International Airlines” category of the CommonWealth Magazine’s “Outstanding Service Award” in September, once again affirming Revival Airways’ long-held belief of “safety first, service foremost”; and going public officially in November, playing a pivotal role in Taiwan’s aviation industry and marking the official entry of Taiwan’s aviation market into a tripart

Lin Mingfeng stated that 2012 would continue to be a challenging and pivotal year for TransAsia Airways. The airline will actively pursue the gradual launch of new routes in Northeast Asia in line with the government’s open skies policy. Asia routes are both a strength and an advantage for TransAsia Airways, which is fully committed to expanding its network in East Asian markets and considers this a key goal for 2012. Looking ahead, TransAsia Airways will maintain steady operations, strengthen its presence in Asia, and provide every passenger who chooses the airline with safe, reliable, and satisfying flight experiences.
