The historic Grand Hotel de Bordeaux & Spa is situated on Place de la Comédie in the heart of Bordeaux, the world capital of wine, facing the magnificent Grand Théâtre. It offers 150 rooms, including 22 suites, designed by renowned French interior designer Jacques Garcia. With distinctive taste, the interiors blend neoclassical styles from the 18th and 19th centuries with eclectic modern luxury.

On the marble hall on the first floor, an extraordinary Baccarat crystal chandelier adorns the space—this is the only surviving antique among the furnishings since the building first became a hotel in 1904. The design incorporates famous Bordeaux marble, elegant warm-toned fabrics (mauve, lilac, and crimson), and furniture inspired by the 18th century.
In the guest rooms, all standard suites and above are equipped with Nespresso coffee machines offering a variety of coffee choices, while prestige suites feature private wine bars. Royal suite guests can also access a private rooftop terrace, where they can enjoy a massage tub while taking in breathtaking views.

For dining, the hotel’s renowned Michelin one-star restaurant “Le Pressoir d’Argent” serves a variety of exquisite seafood dishes, highlighted by premium ingredients such as crayfish, Aquitaine caviar, Belon oysters, and Breton blue lobster.
One unique element is its lobster bisque extractor—one of only five in the world, with one in Brussels, one in Berlin, two in Paris, and now a newly manufactured one in Bordeaux. It fully showcases the artistry of cooking, as if an artist has meticulously presented the full flavor of the ingredients to diners. At the same time, to display the preparation process at the table, live “Breton blue lobsters” are first shown to guests before being pan-seared in the kitchen. The chef always completes the final cooking steps in the dining area, adding pasta and a accompanying sauce made from lobster roe. Moreover, Head Sommelier Vincent Delors offers guests a selection of over 400 different types of wines.

The luxurious spa center Les Bains de Léa at Grand Hotel de Bordeaux & Spa is also highly appealing, where couples can enjoy the romantic “Cupidon Escapades” couple’s spa treatment.
